BLADE RUNNER 2049 Is Coming To Blu-ray - Details & Special Features Within!

A sequel to the Ridley Scott classic BLADE RUNNER was always talked about among the loyal fanbase. The 1982 Harrison Ford starring film took place in a dystopian Los Angeles in the year 2019.

The wish was finally granted as the sequel finally did arrive and it was directed by Dennis Villeneuve. Titled BLADE RUNNER 2049, the film has already saw it’s theatrical run and is almost ready to makes way to Blu-ray.

The film stars Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, Jared Leto, Ana de Armas, Mackenzie Davis, Sylvia Hoeks, Carla Juri, Dave Bautista, Barkhad Abdi, Cameron Howe, David Dastmalchian, Lennie James, Hiam Abbass, and Harrison Ford, returning in his original role as Rick Deckard. This will mark the third time that he will return to one of his iconic properties. His return performances as Indiana Jones and the recent Han Solo shines a bright light on him reprising Deckard once again.

The screenplay was written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green and was based off an idea from the minds of Fancher and Ridley Scott, who also produced.

Synopsis:

"Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos. K's discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years."
