edge of terror

edge of terror or 'the wind' is a fantastic thriller set on a remote greek island about a murder mystery writer who is staying there to do some intenve writing for her new book, but all turns to real as the island turns deadly.

I thought that the story line was very good and pulled you in giving you a 'what happens next' feeling all the way through the film but as for the mystery of the killer or 'killer wind' it was revealed quite early on in the film leaving the murder mystery style thriller to blow away in the wind and turned the film into a cat and mouse style chase.

The whole film was brilliantly done with just a very small cast starring meg foster, wings hauser, david mcCallum, robert morley and steve railsback in which no star has much screen time except from meg foster and wings hauser. The eerie surroundings of the remote town, hidden tunnels and destructive howling wind gives the whole film a scary yet beautiful scene.

I think that this film deserves a 8 out of 10 for location, 7 out of 10 for story and 7 out of 10 for the film as a whole.
