After some waiting the trailer for Daniel Craig's horror/thriller Dream House had finally arrived and the buzz surrounding the film seems to suggest that this 2:29 preview of the film contains some major spoilers, so view it with caution.
According to Cinema Blend.com the production for the film has been troubled from the start, which may shed a little light on why Universal would want to "spoil" their own film. Apparently stars Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz were so unhappy with the movie they may not even promote it. While shooting, the director Jim Sheridan fell to the sword of the studio and surrendered all control. (Sounds all to familiar these days) It's been strongly suggested that had he still been involved in the production, this particular trailer below would not have been seen.
So if you want to see this in theaters on September 30th, your best bet is to skip it.
Successful publisher Will Atenton (Craig) quit a job in New York City to relocate his wife, Libby (Weisz), and two girls to a quaint New England town. But as they settle into their new life, they discover their perfect home was the murder scene of a mother and her children. And the entire city believes it was at the hands of the husband who survived.
When Will investigates the tragedy, his only lead comes from Ann Paterson (Watts), a neighbor who was close to the family that died. As Will and Ann piece together the disturbing puzzle, they discover that the story of the last man to leave Will's dream house will be just as horrifying to the one who came next.
