The First Trailer for Francis Ford Coppola's TWIXT Proves To Be Very Strange

Francis Ford Coppola's gothic mystery Twixt is about to make its debut at the 36th Annual Toronto International Film Festival this September, and we just happen to have our hands on this very strange trailer for the film. I'm not really sure what to make of this movie after viewing this very unusual video below, but it certainly looks like this flick is gonna be a pretty surreal experience for the viewer. Val Kilmer, Bruce Dern, Elle Fanning, David Paymer and Ben Chaplin all star in the tale that's inspired by the Gothic horror of Edgar Allan Poe.

Plot Synops:

A writer with a declining career arrives in a small town as part of his book tour and gets caught up in a murder mystery involving a young girl. That night, in a dream, he is approached by a mysterious young ghost named V. He's unsure of her connection to the murder in the town but is grateful for the story being handed to him. Ultimately he is led to the truth of the story, surprised to find that the ending has more to do with his own life than he could ever have anticipated.

This looks very interesting.
