Chilling First Clip From THE THING Prequel
The first clip from the Thing prequel which hits theaters this October has made it's way online today via MTV. In this first little snippet from the movie we see one of the creatures break free from it's icy prison creating a perfect jump scene moment.
 joins a Norwegian scientific team that has stumbled across a crashed extraterrestrial spaceship buried in the ice of Antarctica. NOOOoooo CGI strikes again! What I love most about Carpenter's THING is that you can watch the film today (I actually watched it last week) and the effects don't look dated.
Why use CGI when you can use practical effects? Now I'm worried about this movie letting me down . . .
