"It Isn't Cranberry Sauce!" BLOOD RAGE (1987) Review

Let me just say right now that horror fans have been terribly misled by a man by the name of Eli Roth. Roth said that the reason behind his legendary Thanksgiving faux-trailer for Grindhouse was that Thanksgiving was the only holiday untouched by a slasher film. This is completely untrue, because two slashers were released in the eighties taking place on this holiday. There's 1981's Home Sweet Home, which I found to be an entertaining slice of campy cheese, but I prefer the shot in 1983 and released in 1987 slasher Blood Rage.
