Foreign Film 'Childish Games' Reminds Us To Don't Be Scared, She's Just A Little Girl...

The company that's responble for bringing the

franchise to life is now about to give birth to something truly evil this March and her name is Julia.

Childish Games is the latest offering from director Antonio Chavarrias who also wrote the screenplay. The film deals with a couple who becomes temporary guardians to a 7 year old girl named Julia who recently lost her remaining parent. Feelings of dread and anxiety begin to take control of Daniel as memories from the past become awakened by the girl.

Juan Diego Botto, Barbara Lennie and Magica Perez all star in the film which is also known as Dictation in Spain.



Look for the film by thriller from Filmax to premiere at the 2012 Berlin market.

Plot Synops:

Daniel receives an unexpected, and unwanted, vit from a friend whom he hasn't seen nce his childhood. His friend is obsessed with his daughter and insts that Daniel has to meet her. Daniel does his best to get rid of him and tries to forget the incident. That same night his friend commits suicide.

Laura, Daniel's wife, suggests they go to his friend's funeral. There they meet his daughter, a little girl, barely seven years old, who nce the death of her father has been taken into foster care. Laura convinces all parties that the best thing is for the little girl to go and stay with them.

But the little girl's presence in the house starts to have an adverse effect on the couple when fears and memories which Daniel thought he had long nce buried start to come creeping back inde his head. The same obsesons and fears that took the life of his friend start to take control of Daniel. A growing sense of isolation engulfs Daniel in the house, which, until the arrival of the little girl, he had thought belonged to him.
