Romero Inspired 'Night of the Living Dead: Resurrection' Teases Us With It's Trailer

Ready for so more zombie action? Good, because we just got the official teaser trailer for a really cool project that we think your really gonna dig. Here's the deets.

North Bank Entertainment has teamed up with Independent Moving Pictures and Mad Science Films to produce a British veron of the 1968 George A. Romero clasc which will be made in a "truly independent, low budget fashion, rather than become yet another glossy, sanitised Hollywood remake."

Night of the Living Dead: Resurrection

is aiming to serve as an entertaining companion piece to the original film rather than attempting to do the imposble and improving on it.

James Plumb, who has previously helmed a number of award-winning short films, will be directing the film which will be his first feature. Andrew Jones will be producing the film which he also co-wrote with Plumb.

Principal photography for the film began on September 24th, 2011 in various locations in South Wales.UK.

The storyline goes like this:

It's the year 2012and the deceased have risen from their graves with only one instinct: to feed on the living. As academics speculate on the scientific cause of the phenomena, theologians point to the Armageddon foretold in the Book of Revelation. As the cities are overrun and civilization crumbles, a family take refuge from the undead army in an isolated farmhouse in West Wales. But the greatest threat is already among them.
