The Official Trailer For The Horror/Comedy 'Detention' Is Finally Here!

Accepted in the 2011 SXSW film festival, Joseph Kahn's upcoming slasher flick Detention may have just enough horror and just enough comedy to make this a really fun little flick, and I'm really looking forward to seeing it.



Detention sets out to prove that the road to graduation is never an easy one, especially if your a student from the senior class at Grizzly Lake high school. Trying to survive their final year of high school becomes

literally a feat for these lucky students when they encounter a slasher movie killer who seemingly comes to life.

The only ones who can stop the killer are a handful of students, but they'll have to cut out of detention if they're to stand a chance at saving the world.

Detention stars Dane Cook, Josh Hutcherson, Shanley Caswell, Spencer Locke, Parker Bagley, Alison Woods, Walter Perez, and Evan Williams. Look for the film to be released in select theaters on April 13th.

I thought this sounded interesting until I read that Dane Cook was in it.
