Trailer for "Island", Starring Robbie Curran, Finally Emerges Online
OK, so I'm a sucker for horror films, and as you can probably tell by my name, I love anything independent too.
So for me, my appetite was definitely wetted the minute I saw the "leaked" trailer for Island, from European Broadcast Ltd.
Now Robbie Curran, a young British theatre actor, takes the role of Max - a reimagining of the character Piggy from Lord of the Flies.
You see, apparently, this is a Lord of the Flies remake.
Wow.
The trailer's unoffical too, which makes me much more inclined to drool with a feeling like I've just invaded Tutankhamun's grave.
Thomas James Longley (from Sparrow) stars too, and Gabriella Montrose, Lauren Kellegher and Matthew Ferdenzi seem to round up the main cast.
The film was shown last year in London, and is now apparently getting ready for the festival circuit.
