Go Behind-The-Scenes Of Maniac And Witness Some New Footage

So the probability of US redents getting to nk their teeth into the Maniac remake this year is nil. Next year, hopefully early on, we'll get to see if star Elijah Wood gives justice to the character of Frank Zito. However until that time, we'll have to rely on videos such as the one below which offers up a behind-the-scenes look at the film with some additional footage thrown in for good measure.



In the film, "Frank is the withdrawn owner of a mannequin store, but his life changes when young artist Anna appears asking for his help with her new exhibition. As their friendship develops and Frank’s obseson escalates, it becomes clear that she has unleashed a long-repressed compulon to stalk and kill."

A 21st century Jack the Ripper set in present-day LA, MANIAC is a re-boot of the cult film by William Lustig, and its condered by many to be the most suspenseful slasher movie ever made – an intimate, visually daring, psychologically complex and profoundly horrific trip into the downward spiraling nightmare of a killer and his victims.

Pretty stoked on this one, should be one of the best remakes yet.
