Official Trailer Finally Arrives For INDEPENDENCE DAY RESURGENCE!

Around the end of last year Twentieth Century Fox officially green lit the long awaited INDEPENDENCE DAY 2, and set the film on track for a 2016 Summer release. That means The alien invasion sequel will be hitting the big screen almost exactly 20 years after the original.

Now going by the official title of INDEPENDENCE DAY RESURGENCE, the sequel looks to pay respect to it's predecessor and take things to a whole new level. The official trailer has finally arrived and we have that for you down below.

INDEPENDENCE DAY RESURGENCE stars Bill Pullman, Jeff Goldblum, Vivica A. Fox, Judd Hirsch, Brent Spiner, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Liam Hemsworth, Joey King, Maika Monroe, DeObia Oparei, Jessie Usher, Sela Ward, and William Fichtner.

Synopsis:

"Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction."



INDEPENDENCE DAY RESURGENCE will be in theaters June 24, 2016.
