New ALIEN: COVENANT Promo Video Introduces New Character - Official Trailer Included!

The 2012 film PROMETHEUS became a huge hit at the box office which lined things up nicely for a sequel. Director Ridley Scott has been working on the upcoming ALIEN: COVENANT which will be the PROMETHEUS sequel and serve as a prequel to the ALIEN movies.

As the hype continues to build towards the release of ALIEN: COVENANT, we bring you a special video that was directed by Luke Scott and it shows us the creation of a Walter android which is played by Michael Fassbender. Head on down below to check that out.

The cast that is made up of Katherine Waterston, Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Demian Bichir, Danny McBride, Jussie Smollett, Amy Seimetz, Carmen Ejogo, Benjamin Rigby, Callie Hernandez, Billy Crudup and James Franco.

The film was written by Michael Green, Jack Paglen, and John Logan.

Synopsis:

"Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world -- whose sole inhabitant is the "synthetic" David, survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition."





Michael Fassbender previously had this to say about ALIEN COVENANT:

“It’s much scarier than Prometheus, but it’s got the same sort of scope of Prometheus.”

Adding that:

“It’s kind of got more of thriller, imminent disaster feel that Alien had, so it’s kind of a beautiful meeting of both of those films. I’m really excited to see it, I think it’s gonna be super scary number one and then again with the massive scope of Prometheus… Once it starts and the h.ball starts rolling, it doesn’t let up. It’s really gonna bring chills to the cinema.”

ALIEN: COVENANT will arrive in theaters on May 19th.
