Teaser Video Arrives For New Killer Shark Movie 47 METERS DOWN: THE NEXT CHAPTER!

With killer shark movies seeming to be at an all time high, a sequel to 47 METERS DOWN is being teased in a new video from Entertainment Studios. Head on down below to have a look at that.

The sequel, titled 47 METERS DOWN: THE NEXT CHAPTER is directed by Johannes Roberts who returns from the first film. The original brought in nearly $53 million at the global box office last summer.

The plot details do not include surviving characters from the first movie, which followed two sisters who become stranded on the ocean floor with only rusty cage bars between them and Great White sharks.

Instead of taking place off the shores of Mexico, the sequel is expected to be set in the waters around Brazil, with THR previously reporting that the film will follow

Synopsis:

"A group of girls looking for adventure in the coastal metropolis of Recife, hoping to get off the well-worn tourist trail, hear about some hidden underwater ruins only to find that the turquoise waves of their secret Atlantis aren’t completely uninhabited."



47 METERS DOWN: THE NEXT CHAPTER will be released in the summer of 2019.
