Brand New Documentary On John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN Is Coming This October - Details Within!

Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.

Documentaries are so much fun. They take us behind the scenes and we are allowed to get a lot of inside information about some of our favorite films. Sure there has been some documentaries on John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN in the past, but that doesn’t mean that there will not be any more of them.

As it turns out, Bloody Flicks will be producing an all new documentary titled FOR THE LOVE OF THE BOOGEYMAN: 40 YEARS OF HALLOWEEN which will based on Carpenter’s original HALLOWEEN.

The plan is to try and release the documentary in October around the same time that Blumhouse’s new HALLOWEEN arrives.

Here is the description of the documentary courtesy of Bloody Flicks:

“This documentary is by fans and for the fans, chronicling why John Carpenter’s classic has stood the test of time.

Bringing together some of the brightest voices from independent horror we will explore what makes the film so special. From the music, the mask to Michael Myers, everyone has their own take on Halloween, and why it is the blueprint for slasher horror and in our humble opinion, has never been better.

We’ve already confirmed our first contributor to the project, Cruel Summer Director Phillip Escott, with plenty more familiar faces in the pipeline.

We’re aiming to release the documentary around Halloween 2018, and the release of the new sequel produced by John Carpenter and starring original cast members Jamie Lee Curtis and Nick Castle.”

FOR THE LOVE OF THE BOOGEYMAN: 40 YEARS OF HALLOWEEN is planned to arrive Halloween of this year.
