New Official Photo From The CABIN FEVER Remake Is Within!

Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.

It was around one year ago that we learned the news that a remake of Eli Roth’s Horror thriller CABIN FEVER would be made under Travis Zariwny's direction. The idea was for the film is to be shot from the exact same script that Roth previously directed back in 2002, as opposed to going through a long, delayed studio development process.

That same plan remains intact with one of the main differences between the two films, besides the new actors, being the death scenes. Roth says it was like "re-staging a play."

In the 2002 original film we were treated to a quick hallucination as we see a shot of young Dennis in a hospital with a person in a bunny costume standing over him holding a stack of pancakes and a syringe containing syrup.

With the CABIN FEVER remake nearly upon us, we bring you a fresh image (see below) from the film which depicts a child who is presumed to be Dennis, wearing a bunny mask. It will be interesting to see how Zariwny's vision on Roth's old script plays out.

CABIN FEVER stars Gage Golightly, Matthew Daddario, Samuel Davis, Nadine Crocker, Dustin Ingram, and Louise Linton who portrays Deputy Winston.

The story follows a group of five college graduates who rent a cabin in the woods. Soon, all hell breaks loose, as the group falls victim to a flesh-eating virus that attracts the unwanted attention of the homicidal locals.

The film was produced by Evan Astrowsky, Christopher Lemole, and Tim Zajaros, and was executive produced by Roth, Cassian Elwes, Jerry Fruchtman, Peter Fruchtman and Ike and Jaclyn Suri.

Look for IFC Midnight to release CABIN FEVER on February 12th into select theaters as well as VOD.
