First Official Video Clip From MORTAL KOMBAT: LEGACY

Remember that killer trailer that we showed you last year? It featured what looked like a Christopher Nolan inspired attempt to bring the MORTAL KOMBAT world to life on film in an ultra realistic way. That filmmaker was Kevin Tancharoen and his viral video was solely funded by himself to help generate enough buzz for a new MORTAL KOMBAT remake movie.

Good news and bad news. Tancharoen film didn't get picked up as a movie but Warner Bros. did take notice as they gned Tancharoen on to turn the trailer into a mini web series that premieres April 12 on Machinima.com, starring Jeri Ryan and Michael Jai White.

Below is the first official clip from the series. Not quite as bad-ass as the initial trailer. You be the judge.
