Get Ready for Big Easy Zombies In "Zombex", Maybe?
Just when you thought it was safe to party on Bourbon Street, along come the zombies. "Zombex" is a drug that helps the victims of hurricane Katrina deal with anxiety, but there is a de effect that turns the depressed in flesh eating zombies. Production began on May 1, but no release date is available as of yet.
Country mucian turned director Jesse Dayton helms this project, starring Lew Temple, David Christopher, Malcolm McDowell, d Haig and Corey Feldman.

Plot Synops: ” ZOMBEX tells the story of a post-Katrina New Orleans as it deals with a new disaster, a zombie apocalypse. Gone is the depreson and post-traumatic stress of the hurricane, thanks to the revolutionary ZOMBEX, a rogue, yet, “clinically-proven” anti-depressant pharmaceutical manufactured by a nefarious organization. For the redents of the Big Easy everything is just now turning around for them. Or, is it just the anti-depressant ZOMBEX talking. It is. Just as quickly as the city seemingly turned around, it turns again. Only this time, turning NOLA’s inhabitants into the city’s walking dead.”
