The horror genre constantly grazes the surface of the post-apocalyptic mayhem sub genre. I, for one am a huge fan of movies of this type and caliber. THE COLLAPSED is the newest Canadian horror/thriller centered around a post-apocalyptic world thrown into a downward spiral of disorder, death, and distrust. A family of four is lead by the father of two as they fight for survival in this "smart and stylistically end of the world thriller." Check out the trailer, synops, and poster below:
In the wake of the end of the world, a family of four desperately tries to survive against insurmountable odds. Their goal: escaping the city and traveling to the rural community they once called home, Dover's Bend.
The constant threat of a violent death forcing them to stay as far away from civilization as posble, they take to the forest, soon to discover the danger posed by other survivors may be the least of their worries.
