Just got through speaking with Sam, what an incredibly nice guy. This man is not only a legend in the mask community, Sam really helped start the whole Myers craze in my mind back in the 80's. Sam loved the Mask Hall of Fame so much he has decided to donate a copy of the new Shape mask he recently finished. These masks sold overnight without production even beginning if that tells you anything. The Shape mask (as close to a 75 Kirk as you can get) will be the first mask inducted into the Hall and will surely help cement the new McCain Myers as one of the industries finest. The Hall of Fame is meant to be for the best of the best and what a great mask to have as the first. Below are a few production photos Sam has posted.
Awesome!! Sam!! Fine choice for the first to go into the hall. Sam's work is incredible... and he's such a pro. Plus the new Shape is one of my favorites... which I'll never have.
Good to see that legends will make it into the hall!

Right on. More artists should realize the importance of the hall of fame and get a copy in there.

My goal for the Hall is to have a place to immortalize these wonderful works of art these masks makers spend there time creating. Over time I really believe the Hall will be a place for the elite of the elite. And the cool thing it is really up to everyone if a mask makes it in.

Exactly. The people will decide who's the very best of the best. It's a great place (and as far as I know... the only place) for the legends to have a spot where their best work can be showcased. The Hall of Fame was a great idea man.
