Last week prove to be another HUGE week here at HorrorBid.com We all pulled in together and as a result we were able to report on a lot of announcements that occurred during the week, but like weeks past we were so overwhelmed reporting on all the major events such as the new Evil Dead movie, the debut of the Thing trailer, and lets not forget about all those casting updates for the upcoming Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D film - So naturally a few goodies got lost in the shuffle. The official trailer for IFC's Spiderhole cast it's web on us earlier in the week. Spiderhole which is written and directed by Daniel mpson will be available on demand from IFC Midnight via Comcast, Cox, Cablevion, Time Warner, and Bright House starting July 27th!

But Cesar is starting to get a bit too cocky, and soon his carefully thought out plans will start to unravel...Luckily for him, he has one last ace up his sleeve.<br /><br />Last week we advised all you Bidites about the posbility of Spike Lee directing Oldboy, a remake of the highly-acclaimed South Korean film. Well it was officially confirmed this past week. We're hoping that it doesn't disappoint<br /><br />OLDBOY tells the story of a man who is kidnapped and imprisoned on his daughter’s birthday. For fifteen years he is held captive and, upon his release, must begin his journey to find the reason for his imprisonment. He soon finds out that his kidnapper has plans for him more tortuous than his solitary confinement. The original film, released in 2003 and directed by Chan-wook Park, won the Grand Prize Jury Award at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival.<br /><br />According to Deadline, which broke the news on Monday, Disney and Johnny Depp's Infinitum Nihil are teaming up on a feature veron of the '70s TV movie The Night Stalker. Legendary Pictures hired David Goyer to pen the screenplay for the upcoming Godzilla movie entitled Monsters. In case you don't remember, director Gareth Edwards announced prior that he was going to be working on a big budget Hollywood revamping of Godzilla from a previous draft by David Callaham, so it certainly looks like this project has some serious potential to be big.
Ben Barnes landed the starring role oppote Jeff Bridges in the adaptation of Joseph Delaney's young-adult series The Seventh Son. Look for the film to be released by Warner Bros on February 15th 2013.
Legendary horror novelist Stephen King has a new eBook on the way this September entitled Mile 81.No official storyline or other details were provided.
The Matthew Parkhill-directed thriller The Caller looks like it's going to get a limited theatrical run which has been currently undetermined . Shock Till You Drop made the announcement several days ago.

David Yates, who directed the last four Harry Potter films, is Warner Bros. top choice to direct a multi-picture adaptation of Stephen King’s The Stand. We're told Yates will decide if he wants to do the film sometime in the next two weeks. This could be HUGE if he accepts.
A new One-Sheet for the Chilean horror flick Hidden in the Woods came out from hiding.
Plot Synops:
Inspired by true events, HIDDEN IN THE WOODS tells the story of two sters who have been raised in isolation, subjected to the torment of their abuve, drug dealing father. When they finally decide to report him to the police, he kills the two officers and is put in jail. But things go from bad to worse when the girls must answer to their Uncle Costello, a psychotic drug kingpin, who shows up looking for his misng merchandise which is hidden in the woods.
