Saw V?

Um... so the next saw movie will be about... about... Ok... so Jigsaw's dead as a doornail, Amanda's face down in her own blood, and this new "Hoffman" guy isn't so much of an accomplice as he is a slave... PLUS The next film is NOT going to be directed Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw-Saw IV). Instead, it'll be the production degner of the previous three. SO What promise does this next installment hold?

NONE I've yet to see a Saw sequel that has lived up to the original... and I don't look for Saw V to be the one to do it.

yes I agree, Saw 1 was far superior but I enjoyed the plot twists of the others.

They are actually really good if you watch them one right after the other (you appreciate the story arch more I think) HOWEVER, switching up the director does have me scared and I'm wondering if they should just leave it alone . . . guess this Halloween we'll find out.

Yeah... the only Saw movie that I didn't care for much was Saw II. It just seemed like another one of those movies that you've seen a million times, where there are a group of people trapped in a house, getting picked off one by one (which it was...bacally). But the Saw franchise is probably the best running series of the new horror era... and like you I'm a bit if-y about the change of director. But hey, you never know. I thought there was no room for a Saw IV... and I was wrong.

Friday the 13th is unbeatable. i am a huge fan of it. But in my personal opinion i don't think the saw series will ever live up to friday the 13th.

Another saw? You mean after Saw V? They say the games have just begun in saw IV. I'm thinking there will be a couple more saws after Saw V. -Dexter

Rumor has it (rumor) that there will be 6 SAW films in total.

I could live with that, they are fun to watch as long as you don't think too hard into them.
