It seems like this great genre of ours is really starting to ram zombie's down our throats. With the sudden surge of these types of films in recent years, I really can't believe that we haven't had our first found footage zombie flick yet, anybody listening out there...

Extinction: The G.M.O. Chronicles which is currently in post-production is an independent flick directed by Niki Drozdowski and written by Drozdowski and Ralf Betz. In the vein of "28 Days Later" and "I Am Legend," a retrovirus has entered into the world, killing almost everyone, turning the dead into flesh-eating zombies, and the few survivors have to fight for survival. The future of mankind is at stake in this post-apocalyptic thriller! This English-language movie was shot entirely in Germany by a young and talented group of filmmakers with a very strong visual styles. Check out the official trailer below, and let us know your thoughts on the overall look of the zombies. We think their kinda weird looking.
