Creepy Stills Of Johnny Depp On The Set Of Dark Shadows

Some more paparazzi shots were on display over at Celebuzz today. This time we get our first look at Johnny Depp dressed all up in gothic garb. Depp will be portraying Barnabas Collins in the Tim Burton remake of the popular TV series among adults which ran from the mid 60s to the early 70s.

Is it just me or does Depp look more like the late Michael Jackson in these images? Hopefully this isn't the final look that their going with.



The film which is currently shooting, opens in theaters on May 11, 2012.

Well, condering the bleak style Tim Burton is known for, I wouldn't be surprised if the film itself is going to be in some almost monochrome/black and white scheme with hints of color which could attribute for the over dramatized make up. I mean really, ade from his fantasy flicks, when have we ever seen a Burton film that takes advantage of colors?

Even the BATMAN films have an almost black and white quality to them where the color scheme is very bland and depresng.

There's no reason to believe, now more so with this make up, that he's not doing the same thing here.
