Indie Flick Gun Town II: Timeline Is In The Works!

Ok. This is it.

I just got off of the phone with the Emerys. Were on. All these articles and all the discuson got my blood boiling for another tour through the old western tourist trap with Franks Bailey Sr.



Independent horror is for the fans. Its constructed from the minds of those who truly want to show their vion, their story.

Im all for the indie filmmaker because I am one. Were out here sacrificing everything we have in order to bring you our best. We dont have health benefits or insurance. We dont have unemployment. We dont have access to the luxurious equipment that the big studios have. I admire any indie guy or gal that puts forth a realistic effort toward their film, and gets it finished.



Me and many other filmmakers are out there and we want to keep your eyes bleeding with new material.

We can do it if we can support each other. Lots of locals from that area want to see this, we hope you do too.

Ive spoken my piece. And now, its time to start writing. I started a while back and reached page 14. Time to reach the last page, time to cast characters, time to rock and roll. Im gonna duck down for a while and get things going. Ill be back. Until then...perhaps a little tease of what to expect? I cant just spoil it right away, but Ill say this...

prequel/sequel in one. Bailey gets a new look. questions answered from the first one. night scenes this time. lots of special features.

...and a SHITLOAD of action/blood/gore. You want horror, you got it.

What did you shoot with?

a Smith and Wesson revolv....oh..sorry, lol.

Damn thats a good camera, I've been shooting with a Canon XF100 but have been thinking about selling it for a DSLR or and EVIL (mostly because of the low light performance and shallow depth that they can produce with the right lenses).

Thanks. I was happy with the results. Another good option if you're on a budget is the Canon 7D. It has a great look. Here is a teaser I shot for "Evade" with the 7D to give you a look:

Well I was thinking about the 7D before but I have been looking at the 'EVIL' hybrid camera Panasonic GH2 which gives really good footage in low light, especially with a pancake lens. A friend of mine just got one so I will probably mess with it before drawing any concluons.

Good move. Keep me posted, I'd like to know how it turns out.
