OMG! Never-Before-Seen Images Of Derek Mears Portraying Jason Surface!

You can say what you want about Platinum Dunes' remake of Friday the 13th, but I'll stand by my words when I say that this is the best remake out of the big 3 to hit the big screen. With that being said, Derek Mears who portrayed the man behind the mask in the 2009 remake, released not one, but two never-before-seen images of himself portraying the machete wielding maniac known as Jason Voorhees. Now on the count of three let's all thank Derek for sharing these rad images with us. 1 - 2 - 3 - Thank you Derek!!

Not sure if I dig this more than RZ's Halloween although F13 remake has an awesome opening.

I still say the best remake was TCM but regardless this was miles better than the NOES remake that got vomitted at us.

These are great stills and Derek did a great menacing job.

Me too! The stills are gre4at, Derek did an awesome job as the living Jason, and Kane as the zombie-Jason ( and UberJason) The best remake of the 3 big ones...no I don't agree. Halloween was the best of the 3..NOE was absolutely the weakest. Maybe in some better universe, there will be a Freddy vs. Jason 2 with both Kane and Robert..just to correct they're mistake.

Pretty cool, although I do agree with the posts that come before mine. Kane Hodder in my mind is the one and only Jason.

Love Kane as Jason, but you gotta give it to Derek Mears. He has to be the most enthuatc Jason actor next to Kane. I hope he continues to don the hock and swing the machete for future films. I was definietly impressed.

Seeing these pictures does kind of make me wish for a f13 2. Probably not going to happen though.

that can Play Jason like Kane. And I have a huge celebrity crush/obseson for him and would watch him read the phone book if someone put it on film. gh... unrequited love... LOL
