Brand New Artwork & Trailer Make Their Way 'FROM BENEATH'

With a North American DVD release looming large this October, followed by a large Cable and Internet VOD release campaign, the indie horror/suspense flick From Beneath has all the credentials to make your squirm around in your seat, and devour your nails.

Currently the film is seeking world-wide distribution and will be showcased as one of Acort International's new lineup of films at the 2012 American Film Market.

Completed in 2011, the film was written and directed by David Doucette and produced by Ashe Morrison.

Featuring a talented cast including Lauren Watson as Sam and Jamie Temple as Jason, From Beneath is a creepy and suspenseful film which must be seen.

In the film, "A young couple go on a vacation to a relative's rural farmhouse. Hot and sticky from the long drive, Sam and Jason take a dip in the pond only to be bitten by a strange leech-like organism which crawls inde Jason when he tries to rip it off. Back at the house, Sam’s ster and her family have yet to return. As time progresses, the injury on Jason’s leg worsens into a rapidly spreading infection, and strange clues begin to reveal that there may be more to their host’s absence than previously appeared. It soon becomes a race against time to discover what happened to Sam’s ster and her family and what lies in store for Jason, faced with his phycal and emotional dintegration."
