Masters of Horror Music Composers: Mike Oldfield

Another addition to the Masters of Horror Muc Composers, I would like to add is Mike Oldfield. Oldfield is the writer of the infamous "Tubular Bells" from horror movie clasc, The Exorcist (1973). This composure has frightened many for almost 40 years! Let this be a reminder of The Exorcist 40th anniversary in 2013! Oldfield's composure has appeared in numerous films, like The Master of Disguise, Scary Movie 2, as well as once in the televion series Psych. Just with this piece alone, he carved a path for other muc composers to try to follow. Today, if you ask people what the scariest song they know is, a good handful will say The Exorcist theme muc. Such a mple tune, with such a haunting sound.

Yep, Oldfield did a nice one on The Exorcist, and John Carpenter would not have the inspiration for his Halloween Theme without Mike Oldfield.

Is the man still in buness making muc, or has he past away?
