Fox Begins Development on Len Wiseman's Sleepy Hollow

For all you who love the story of Sleepy Hollow here's some news to pass along. It was way back in July when we last heard ant rumbling's about Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci televion project Sleepy Hollow, but now Deadline is reporting that Fox has ordered a pilot to go into production with Underworld helmer Len Wiseman set to direct.



Described as a modern-day supernatural thriller based on the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, the show follows Ichabod Crane as he partners with Sleepy Hollow's local female sheriff to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil.

Kurtzman and Orci will write the script with Phillip Iscove, on who's idea the project is based.

With another Sleepy Hallow series being developed by competing network CW there seems to be some renewed interest in Washington Irving's clasc tale of terror. I don't know about you all but I'm really looking forward to this.
