WALKING DEAD Showrunner Scott Gimple Talks What Is Coming When The Show Returns!

THE WALKING DEAD has permanently cemented itself into our pop culture no doubt about that. It is really nice to see a show like that step up and reach so many people. It would seem that by doing so, previous non Horror fans could easily be turned on to the genre which is wonderful. For many fans of THE WALKING DEAD, February cannot get here fast enough. The latest mid-season finale was highly electric and was filled with so many surprises. It opened the flood gates for all kinds of possibilities while at the same time closing a few chapters.

The big question is what comes next? Showrunner Scott Gimple had this to say pertaining to Rick and Carl Grimes in the second half of the fourth season:

"It's going to hit [Rick] in a way that we haven't seen before… If it's just the two of them, [Carl is] going to have to step up quite a bit because circumstances are wildly different and a lot will depend on him in terms of them just surviving. They don't have an awesome, dual-layer fence and brick buildings to hide behind. They're out in the world."
