Huge News: First Teaser Video Arrives For AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL - Lady Gaga Joins Cast!

Now that the interesting season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW has been been at rest for a while now, FX announced has announced the first casting for its fifth season in pop star Lady Gaga.

Little information has been given about the season, which will be titled AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL. It is expected to air at the end of October, as previous AHS series have.

Gaga took to Twitter with a very simple, yet alluring teaser video (see below). There is no information about the role she will be playing, or if actress Jessica Lange would return.



This won't be Gaga's television debut. The pop star, who is known for her extravagant stage productions, was cast as an extra in THE SOPRANOS in 2001 when she was still studying performing arts. She also played on MACHETE KILLS and SIN CITY 2: A DAME TO KILL FOR.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY's co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk have attracted unusual stars to the show before, including Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates and Michael Chiklis. Each year the show takes on a different theme and setting.

In the past AMERICAN HORROR STORY has visited the Murder House, an asylum, a witches coven, and most recently the Freak Show. Murphy has previously said that there are clues in the fourth season pertaining to the upcoming Season 5.
