First Good Look At The New Killer For MTV'S SCREAM Series Within!

The upcoming SCREAM MTV series has been slowly building for quite a while now. The Movie awards gave us a lightning fast teaser, followed by the official trailer. Then just last week we received the first look at the new mask which really got fans to talking. Today MTV has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming show along with a two second gif image that gives us a quick flash of the new killer sporting the mask. Executive producer Jill Blotevogel says of the new mask:

“It evokes some of the Jason hockey mask and the white Michael Myers mask, but it’s still first and foremost evocative of the Scream mask. It’s sort of a reinvention while also paying homage.”

The cast is made up of Bex Taylor-Klaus, Willa Fitzgerald, John Karna, Connor Weil, Joel Gretsch, Carlson Young, Amelia Rose Blaire, Bella Thorne, Bobby Campo and Amadeus Serafini. Jamie Travis is the director of the pilot.

Synopsis for the series:

"After a cyber-bullying incident results in a brutal murder, the shocking violence stirs up memories of a killing spree from the past that has haunted some, intrigued others and maybe just inspired a new killer. A group of teens – with two old friends struggling to reconnect at its heart – become lovers, enemies, suspects, targets and victims of a killer who’s out for blood."





SCREAM the TV Series comes to television June 30th on MTV.
