Incredible First Trailer For ASH VS EVIL DEAD Is Within!

Comic-con has been responsible for a lot of Horror goodies as of late and more continues to come in. Starz picked up Sam Raimi's upcoming television project which will see the Deadites heading to the small screen on Halloween night. The new series which will be titled ASH VS EVIL DEAD and will be a follow up to Raimi's EVIL DEAD films featuring an older Ash accompanied by two sidekick type characters.

Bruce Campbell reprises his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.

With Campbell in the role of Ash Williams, the rest of the cast is made up of Lucy Lawless as Ruby a mysterious figure who believes Ash is the cause of the Evil outbreaks, Jill Marie Jones as Amanda Fisher, a disgraced Michigan State Trooper set to find our anti-hero Ash and prove his responsibility in the grisly murder of her partner, Ray Santiago as Pablo Simon Bolivar, an idealistic immigrant who becomes Ash’s loyal sidekick and Dana DeLorenzo as Kelly Maxwell, a moody wild child trying to outrun her past, and Mimi Rogers as Suzy Maxwell, Kelly's mother.

Campbell also has made it known that the current plan for ASH VS EVIL DEAD is to try and have five seasons.

Aaron Lam will be producing and Craig DiGregorio will be the showrunner as well as executive producer along with Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell. Co- executive producing will be Ivan Raimi.

Sam Raimi, who will be directing the first episode, is handling the writing duties along with Ivan Raimi, and Tom Spezialy. The show will be made up of 10 half hour episodes.

ASH VS EVIL DEAD will debut October 31st on STARZ.
