News On HELLRAISER: ORIGINS - Trailer Is Within!

A couple of years ago Clive Barker declared that he would be writing a script for a reboot to his classic creation HELLRAISER. Two years later and there is still no word as to what will happen with that. This raises the question of where does this leave the HELLRAISER: ORIGINS idea?

Quite some time ago Paul Gerrard and Mike Le Han offered up a re-imagining of the HELLRAISER world. A teaser was produced (see below) to accompany a pitch document which has many more conceptual designs that re-envision HELLRAISER. Paul designed the new look for Pinhead and was production designer on the shoot and Le Han pulled in all of his film resources and directed the teaser trailer for HELLRAISER: ORIGINS, which was a proposed pitch for Dimension Films to consider.

The latest word on HELLRAISER: ORIGINS is that the teaser was shown at the HollyShorts Film Festival in Hollywood at the end of 2015.
