A New Gameplay Overview Video For FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME Is Within!

The upcoming FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME from Gun Media and IllFonic in partnership with Crystal Lake Entertainment has been making some big waves lately. The fact that this game will indeed will be getting made has fans of the franchise on the edge of their seats with excitement.

The makers of FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME have just released a gameplay overview video (see below). It offers us an idea of how the gameplay will play out. Counselors to choose from are "The Edgy Guy," "The Jock," and "The Girl Next Door." You will also find concept art for "The Athletic Girl" and "The Preppy Guy" down below.

"FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME is an online, asymmetric multiplayer experience where one player will assume the role of Jason Voorhees against seven other players assuming the roles of camp counselors trying to survive the night."







Kane Hodder will reprise the role of Jason Voorhees via motion capture and that Tom Savini, Harry Manfredini, and Sean S. Cunningham are all on board with the project as well.

FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME is expected to be released in the fall of 2016, and will be available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
