Netflix is a platform that continues to gain popularity and these days the company is gladly shelling out the films and programming. One such film that they recently acquired is the upcoming thriller from director Mike Flanagan titled HUSH. The movie has a unique angle using the “Silence can be killer” mentality. HUSH stars Kate Siegel, John Gallagher Jr., Samantha Sloyan, and Michael Trucco. The film is produced by Trevor Macy and Jason Blum.

Synopsis:

"After losing her hearing as a teenager, author Maddie Young has lived a life of isolation fully retreating into her now silent world. When the masked face of a psychotic killer appears in the window of her secluded home, she must push herself beyond her mental and physical limits in order to survive the night."



HUSH is making it's premiere this weekend at the SXSW film festival, and will be available on Netflix on April 8th.
