Godspeed Forry...

Forry Ackerman passed away yesterday at the age of 92.

He will be missed.

man....i am utterly heartbroken over this. I had always hoped I would get the chance to meet him. I guess it just wasn't meant to be, at least, in this lifetime.

it is a sad day, he will be missed.

I knew his health was failing and his home has been in a hospice tuation for over a month now but it's still very sad news.

I have a few things in my collection that I picked up when Forry moved into the smaller house and they're a little more special now.

Forry was a very kind and soft spoken gentleman. He never turned anyone away that wanted to vit the Ackermanon. I vited him at least a dozen times over the years and he always greeted me with a smile. RIP Forry!

That's really sad... I knew he was on his way, but it doesn't make it any eaer.

He might be in good hands now! Some say that he invented the sci-fi movies. We lost a great genius yesterday, but his work it's forever!
