Casino Royale

It took me alog time to see this one because I wasn't thrilled about the idea of Daniel Craig playing 007. Also, a good friend of mine (who is normally a decent gauge for movies) told me very bad things about it, which added to the delay.

So anyways, here's what I've got to say about the latest Bond film: The main song for the film could have been better, the score was pretty damn good, and they didn't play the gnature "bond theme" until the credits... so overall the muc was (for lack of a better word) average. Daniel wasn't the best Bond either. He mumbled alot, spent a lot more time sprinting than he did driving, and was a loose cannon/asshole for the better half of the film. I wouldn't say he was bad though. On the upde, it was very action-packed. Also, Eva Green was one of the more naturally beautiful "bond girls" I've seen in a while. Good casting in her case. The main villain was perfectly over the top in my opinion. He was mean and cold hearted, and also an obvious pussy (which alot of the good ones are). I'm not a huge fan of the lack of gadgets in this one. In my opinion, that's part of what makes Bond awesome. With that aspect being so absent just felt weird, but the movie turned out okay without it I suppose. SO... if you're a bond fan... you've probably already seen it. If you're an action fan, or just your average moviegoer, you should probably check it out. 6.75/10

I'm a huge Bond fan and I actually LOVED this film.

I really think Craig had the best interpretation of Bond nce Connery (who is still the best bar none).

I was really negative about the series re-boot but after watching it I came around realizing that if they were to continue the series this needed to be done.

I like Craig's immature Bond, gives the character much more room to grow and change as he continues to make sequels.

I'm pumped for "Quantum of Solace" (which takes place 10 minutes where Royale left off), they've got a lot of behind the scenes vids up on Yahoo and Rotten Tomatoes.

I too am very excited about the next one. Cano Royale really left me wanting more (and I'd be fine seeing with more of the same). Also, I think that everyone can agree that Connery was the best Bond.

Connery by far . . . no one comes close.

Wish he would have reprised his role in Indy IV but this movie is coming out 10 years late anyways.
