Well guys, it's official: VHS is dead.
Even though most of us probably thought it was already long gone, its death certificate was gned when Distribution Video Audio of Palm Harbor, Fla. -- the last major supplier of VHS tapes -- shipped the last of its salable stock. Distribution Video Audio made $20 million per year selling tons of tapes cheaply, but now the buness has vanished.
REST IN PEACE VHSp.s. however I'm sure many people #$%$(*cought@##@ Bisco, will NEVER let it die completely . . . heck, you can still find someone with Beta every once in a while.
All my editing skills go back to VCR to VCR splicing, I owe much to VHS.
