Question for all of you Myers mask collectors....

I'm talking about display only, not being able to wear the mask..

Question :

Would you guys buy a Myers mask made out of anything but latex? Would you conder a hard material like ren or plastic as long as it looked like a latex mask?

I'll update you with what I'm getting at as soon as I get a few opinions.

Well its not really an idea, I just wanted to know if it would be worth offering a ren display copy of a mask. The pic's I posted of my new Psychopath clean proto is actually made out of a plastic.

I liked it so much that I was thinking about offering it as an option for people that want a display mask... It won't rot, loose its shape, and its a perfect replica from my original sculpture. No air bubbles or bumps that latex masks get after a few pulls from a mold. Really the only downfall is that you can't wear it...

Thats a sweet idea Casey! I wouldn't have known from the pics that the mask wasn't latex.

I gotta admit when I first started reading about a Plastic or Fiberglass mask, I was a little "HUH?", but the more I thought about it and then when you said about the Clean Psychopath being made out of a plastic

I was like... Hmmm... That does look pretty bitchen... Idunno, I like it! Seems very creative and it takes on a Brand New Direction in the line of horror!

A lot of times you buy a mask just for display anyway so why not just think of it like that.

I also wouldn't have known those pics of the Psychopath were plastic.

Case I think a Myers display made from plastic is a great option. To be honest I would actually prefer a plastic Jason under mask to display my hocks on rather than latex that you have to fill. Also a plastic Freddy display would be sweet as well condering most of us "regular" guys aren't built like Mr. Englund thus can't wear many Freddy masks in the first place.

To be honest I would never buy a Myers made of anything but latex.

I love ren pieces and in fact one of my favourite pieces in my collection is a ren bust but it's not for Myers.
