Well I did the elastic instead of leather for a reason. I've gone through every ngle shot of the movie that included the mask and came to the concluon that they must be elastic... There are no buckles showing on the straps in the movie. So in order for this to be a wearable mask it must have been elastic. He also slides the mask on and off quickly without adjusting anything. Also in one of the shots you can see how thin the straps really are. Everything just seems to point to elastic to me. I can do leather straps if you would like, but I'm thinking these are best way to go. I'd have to look into the price but it wouldnt be much more. I wasnt trying to go cheap like some people do on their hockey masks with the elastic straps. Hope that helps... -Casey

Thanks for the info...Is the elastic ealy replaced if it stretches....The reason i ask..Is my badge holder at work has this type of elastic and stretches from use and then starts to slide off

To answer a few of the comments.... Yes the straps can be replaced. I've used velcro to attach them to the mask. I really think you would have to wear the mask 8 hours a day for 2 years in a row to stretch this elastic however...

The first 20 should be done today. Several of them are already spoken for, if you want it to ship out next week hurry up and get your order. Once these 20 are gone I wont be doing another run for a while.
