well i cant wait too see it. i think ima try to put together a sketch of the mask and the sculpt it and all that good stuff. am i the onlyone wo thinks that mask looks pretty damn creepy? well ill try to keep yall updated.

The trailer really didn't do anything for me and I have felt burned by too many new horrors. I'll wait for the reviews to come in first. As for the mask...its cool but looks very milar to the killer's mask in the shitty film PLASTERHEAD.

I like newer ideas like this rather than whores like the saw franchise :) will go see this

The idea of a new "monster" is fantastic..hopefully though it's not as lame as that "behind the mask of lesley vernon" or whatever it was called.

The saw series..meh..kinda lost it's whole point after the first one.

Gore is good..yes, however hopefully the people writing this didn't think "ok, let's make it super bloody so idiots pay for it every year". And actually make it a slasher flick worth our time.

I can't find an image of the mask anywhere so I don't know what it even entails, the trailer is alright though, and the concept is pretty decent

if you go on youtube and watch the redband trailer, you can pause it at a few points and

see the mask perfectly. now after i looked at it, it doese kinda look like that plasterhead or whatever he said. but im betting its super gory.

i debating doing one myself but im going to wait and see if i like the movie or not

on one hand i hate saw but on the other hand i love feast

The critics' comments attached to the TV spot make this movie sound proming.

It's at least somewhat of an original idea, so I'm holding out hope.

I'm going to see this as I'm dying for a good new horror movie. I watch all the new Saw films but have to agree what's the point after Jigsaw was killed.

The mask looks like a rubber ski mask..I'm not intimidated haha.

Saw it yesterday and loved it. Not a torture porn like Saw or Hostel. Really liked the Collector's mask in the movie. Who's gonna make a mask of it? Count me in for it. Just beware there is some animal death in it. A great horror movie worth a watch guy's.

eww that cat, lol, but yea im fully interested in a mask from this, i emailed casey at the prop shop, and asked him, and he said he might do this mask, but of course he wont do it till the dvd comes out to get better shots of the mask, so i hope someone does a good one, im really into this movie, Z

Just came back from seeing THE COLLECTOR. Well I am VERY pleasantly surprised! This is the best horror Ive seen in the movies in a long time.

potives: It had good acting; tense moments; some good gore; and what I loved most was the grainy super 16 look of the film....lots of dark textures and bleeding colors. I love that! BAUHAUS was a nice addition to the score as well!

negatives: The traps were a bit over done; the ending kinda blew; "MIDNIGHT MAN" was a better name for the film; and lastly the over all look of the killer and his knife wielding abilities were SO much like the killer is LAID TO REST (sans the mask).

AS for the COLLECToRS mask? it was ok....even cooler were his cataract looking eyes!

As for the "porn torture" term....I hate it. Unless we're talking shit like AUGUST UNDERGROUND; SCRAP BOOK' or GUINEA PIG? I have a hard time with that term. The gore/violence in the COLLECTOR was EVERY bit much like HOSTEL and SAW! it was ALL torture! lol not enough where I'd call it "porn torture" but I wanna know how this film was different than HOSTEL???

I just saw it and I was kinda just dissapointed. I thought the mask was pretty cool but after looking at it for the whole movie I just got tired of it. It had a weird texture and kinda looked like a wet towel. I really wanted to like this movie but ended up laughing at it more than anything else.

SPOILER: Do not read if you haven't seen the movie. Spoiler! What was with his eyes? I thought he might have night vion goggles and when they had the distinctive night vion goggle noise and the screen turned all green I was sure of it but I quickly realized I was wrong and the director wanted confuse the audience. I just didn't think this movie was anything special. It's fun but not good in any respect.
