If you're a member of the horror community in any capacity Donald Pleasance is more than likely a hero to you. Halloween mply would be "just another slasher film" if it wasn't for Donald's ability to portray the Loomis character to a T and add credibility to an otherwise low budget, indie horror film.

In this thread lets just honor the freaking man and pay tribute to one of the greatest horror icons the industry will ever see! Long live Donald Pleasense, we miss ya, we love ya and there will NEVER, EVER be another Dr. Loomis! EVER!!!!

This is such an emotional topic for me. Donald is such a huge part of what got me into horror. February 2nd will be 16 yrs that he's been gone and it's still hard for me to even think about. Here's a tribute vid I found on Youtube that I posted on RIR's RB a few days ago....RIP Donald

I def agree Justin, not only did he contribute to the whole Halloween franchise, but he was also such an accomplished actor. He will deff be missed.
