Official "Move In Date" For Lionsgate's CABIN IN THE WOODS

How long has the horror community been waiting for this film? Spoof posters have been made. Fans have joked about it. All seemed lost until Lionsgate finally stepped up and picked up the "collecting dust" film. However, unlike Michael Daughtery's terrific TRICK 'R TREAT which sat shelved for years only to get a straight-to-video release CABIN IN THE WOODS is actually coming to theaters.

Yes the wait is almost over says Bloody-Disgusting who revealed today that the scheduled "official" release date for posbly one of the most talked about horror films in recent years will be released April 13, 2012.

Not much longer until we FINALLY get to take a trip into the cabin and see if all this wait and anticipation pays off. Until then, we will wait and wonder if this "official" release date "officially" sticks where all the others failed. Stay tuned.
