While there are some very good reviewers on HorrorBid, that doesn't mean our word is law. Why not read or watch other people give their opinions on various horror flicks? Whether it's a written review on a webte or a superb video on YouTube, there are some fantastic opinions floating around that you should check out, even for the most obscure film you can think of. Here's a list of my personal favorite reviewers out there that I feel deserve your attention and respect. Got a film you're not sure about? Don't fret, here's...
5 Horror Reviewers You Need to Check Out
Not in any particular order

Retro Slashers
If you love slasher movies and have yet to check out Retro Slashers, conder yourself extremely lucky that you clicked on this article. Retro Slashers is filled with the latest slasher news and making-of pieces, as well as a gargantuan archive of slasher reviews. "An aerobics-themed slasher? Who knew that existed?" Expect to have several of those kinds of moments when leafing through their very nicely done catalog reviews. There's also several different kinds of articles all about slashers, like the weirdest weapons or favorite victims. Plus, they have themed months! August is Giallo-month, so check it out right now!

Oh, The Horror
Oh, The Horror! compiles multiple reviews from several different authors onto one fantastic webte. They have a wide variety of reviews, from Friday the 13th to Doom Asylum. Not only are they good reviews, but at the bottom of the review they rate the amount of gore and nudity on a scale of 1-4, so you know whether or not you're getting into a kiddie flick or a potential soft-core porno, or whether you're getting into a tame film relying on scares, or a an all-out bloodbath. Pictures, plot details, and inght make up the majority of the clever vantage points. The webte even has the occaonal interview or listing, so if you can't decide on whether or not to purchase that pricey To All A Goodnight VHS, this is your te.

Good Bad Flicks
Good Bad Flicks is a video review series dedicated to all things unknown or not respected enough. The creator, Cecil, doesn't just focus on horror films, but also does action and science fiction. Even if you aren't a fan of action and sci-fi, watching his episodes are still worthwhile due to the incredible amount of time put into them, as well as the amount of trivia and information given for each film. Plus, they're very funny! His horror reviews are top-notch, and I can't imagine not liking his videos at all. If you don't like the humor, you'll like the amount of info given. If this was a personal list, Good bad Flicks would rate very highly on it, maybe even scoring #1! You can watch the videos on YouTube, blip.tv, or check out the webte here:

Cinemassacre
If you have not heard of James "The Angry Video Game Nerd" Rolfe, I pity your life. His Angry Video Game Nerd segments are very, very popular and very, very funny videos of an alcoholic video game nerd who reviews old and bad video games. However, Rolfe himself is an avid horror fan, and every Halloween, he does a great series of videos called "Cinemassacre's Monster Madness". For those looking for a serious minded and informational review, this isn't it. However, if you want a highly entertaining and highly humorous review of a horror/sci-fi movie, the series is one of the best. For those reviews and other fun videos, check out his webte:

Horrible Horror
I have been a fan of Horrible Horror for a long time. Ever seen I happened to see his "Top Ten Funniest Slasher Kills", I was hooked. His Horrible Horror line of reviews focuses on (you guessed) bad horror movies, like Night of the Lepus or lent Night, Deadly Night Part 2. The reviews are all well done and entertaining, but where he really shines is in his top ten lists. He's only done two, but they're two of the best top ten's I have ever seen (mainly because they focus on slashers). While he isn't as good Good Bad Flicks or Cinemassacre, Horrible Horror is one review series you should really check out here:

Hopefully I've given you something to do for the next few days as you leaf through each person's compilation of horror reviews, whether it be in writing or a video. Either way, there are some very good ones out there that aren't just limited to these five. If you know of another reviewer that's also awesome, reply in the comments section below. Creep on.
