Horror Movie Soundtrack?

What is your favorite horror movie soundtrack? Obviously the Halloween theme is just great and the sound of the creepy little girls jumping rope and nging 1,2 Freddy's coming for you are eerie as all get out. But what horror film perfectly blends good horror notes with cool songs?

Ahh good choice Mike. Our convention buddy Harry Manfredini the composer of the F-13 series is an amazing guy and really helped set the tone for the F-13 films and the iconic kill, kill, ma, ma is legendary. (and mimicd every time I walk in the forest)This is a bit away from the great slasher films but I thought Rob Zombie did a FANTASTIC job in the Devil's Rejects picking the right muc for the right moment. Not my favorite of all time by far but still a greeeeaaaat soundtrack.....

Anyway, lmao I LOVE the theme to "JAWS"!!! I am also a big fan of the ROTLD 2 album... Lamont -- Flesh to Flesh! Just a bad ass song that nobody can locate on cd...

I agree with what's been said so far, but am I the only person who likes Goblin? They're work for Dawn of the Dead and especially Deep Red was fantastic, in my opinion. Although sometimes a bit cheesy, it always seemed to fit the picture perfectly.

Great picks so far but I have to give it to Pyscho #1. After that The Goblins Suspiria soundtrack, The Devils Rejects, Dawn of the dead theme, Halloween theme, and the Exorcist theme.

Psycho is definitely up there in my book. All around great muc helped make that film what it is!
