Scream TV Series Gets Writers

The show is moving forward...

Variety reports that Jay Beattie and Dan Dworkin will pen the Scream TV series that has been talked about for some time now.

Both writers have worked on Revenge, The Event, and Criminal Minds. Their take on the property is unknown. The pilot for the show was greenlit in April. Tony DiSanto and Liz Gately are overseeing the project with Wes Craven in talks to direct.
